Then, we bring your logo to the drawing board, but not the digital drawing board. We mean the literal drawing board with old school pen and paper. Then, and only then, we carefully craft your logo into a digital logo that is refined and solidified into a recognizable brand.

We take logo creation and brand development seriously. Creating a quality brand is not a 15-minute creative exercise, but rather, it begins with a conversation.

Communication is key to high-quality logo design. We will work with you to explore your business goals and strategies, the challenges you face meeting those goals, and create a strategy or brand identity to either address or even remove those challenges.

We also evaluate your market to see if your logo even needs an update. If we do not see a need for an updated logo after we have processed our market research, we will not recommend a redesign.

After we explore your market, we will create a strategic plan and return to you for your feedback.

After you approve our strategic plan, we will bring our information back to the drawing board and transform that knowledge into a shape on paper. Yes, that’s right, on paper.

Logo Design on Paper

There is a creative process that happens when the hand applies some type of media to a type of canvas.

The creative process is so much more creative on paper. There is brain chemistry at work when the hand puts media on a canvas. The pen or pencil gives the right brain, the creative part of the brain, liberty to create freely.

It’s this stage of the logo creation process that sifts through “rough,” preliminary ideas, resulting in logos that are powerful and effective. We are known for this stage of logo design because it is fueled by open creativity. Clever and innovative ideas rarely begin inside a computer, but, rather are refined in a computer.

Our preferred type of media is either pen or pencil on paper. We work on drawing forms and shapes that correspond with the brand identity of your business.

And then, after we are satisfied with the “final” form that emerges, we begin to apply color to symbolize tones in a logo. This preliminary logo is sometimes created with unexpected colors to assist the artist in seeing the tones on a broad level.

Digital Logo Design

We finally craft the digital version of the logo after the preliminary logo is created. This step in the process will refine curves and shapes even further.

Then, we can easily change colors and fonts at this stage to further explore your branding as it relates to this new form that will be your logo.

Finally, the end product is a logo that is effective and influential. We are known for eye-catching logos and memorable branding, a result that we attribute to the phase of logo creation that begins on paper.
