This allows you to show an ad to someone that seems to be interested in a topic where you are a potential provider of services or products. If your business was a restaurant business, we might employ the same strategy when the terms “Chinese” “Mexican” or “Thai” were used.
However, it might just be Trump voters and they would not click the ad thus meaning you business has no cost in that ad being displayed to that particular searcher.
